NEW DELHI: India secured another medal prospect in the ongoing Asian Games on Monday, as Naorem Roshibina Devi clinched a spot in the semi-finals of the Women’s 60 kg Wushu (Sanda), thereby guaranteeing herself a bronze medal.
She exhibited remarkable prowess in the quarterfinals, overpowering her opponent Aiman Karshyga of Kazakhstan with conviction.

It’s worth mentioning that Roshibina Devi had previously won a bronze medal in the same category during the last edition of the Games in Jakarta.
Additionally, she achieved gold medal glory in the same weight class at the 2019 South Asian Games held in Kathmandu-Pokhara.
