Kangana Ranaut has heaped praise on superstar Shah Rukh Khan after his film Jawan saw an unprecedented response on the first day of its release. She took to her Instagram stories and called SRK the cinema god that India needs and also congratulated the entire team of Jawan.
In her long note, Kangana wrote, “From being the ultimate lover boy of the nineties to a decade long struggle again to reinvent his connection with his audience to his late forties to mid fifties and ultimately rising as the quintessential Indian mass super hero at the age of 60 (almost) Is nothing short of super heroic even in real life.”
She further added, “I remember the time when people wrote him off and mocked his choices but his struggle is a master class for all artists enjoying long careers but must reinvent and reestablish.SRK is the cinema God that cinema needs not just for his hugs or dimples but for some serious world saving as well. Meanwhile, Jawan has taken a bumper opening at the box office. The Atlee directorial is all set to rake in Rs 65 crore nett, which will set the record of the highest day in history of Indian cinema.
While Shah Rukh and his seven avatars are the centre of attention for sure, fans also can’t help but laud Deepika Padukone’s character who appears in an extended cameo. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.
