Watch: ‘Unfit’ Rahkeem Cornwall suffers embarrassing run-out in CPL | Cricket News

NEW DELHI: One of the most unfit and non athletic cricketers going around the world at the moment, ‘big man’ Rahkeem Cornwall on Thursday suffered an embarrassing run out during a Caribbean Premier League match between Saint Lucia Kings and Barbados Royals.
The incident took place in the first over of Barbados’ chase when Rahkeem’s partner Kyle Mayers, at the non-striker’s end, tried to steal a single after the ball struck Rahkeem’s pads and went to the short fine-leg.
As Chris Sole fumbled the ball, Mayers took off, forcing Rahkeem to go for the run. But Sole immediately corrected his mistake and grabbed the ball and fired it straight at the stumps at the non-striker’s end. Realising his fate, Rahkeem gave up halfway down the pitch and didn’t even try to make the crease.

The hilarious run out resulted in netizens slamming the 30-year-old over his fitness.

Chasing a steep 202 for win, Barbados eventually went on to lose the match by 54 runs.
