Menarini: Lupin to buy 5 drug brands from Menarini

MUMBAI: Lupin has signed an agreement to acquire five legacy brands in gastroenterology, urology and anti-infectives from Menarini, along with the associated trademark rights. According to a BSE filing, the deal is around Rs 100 crore. Further details on the size of the deal were not disclosed.The brands are Piclin, Menoctyl, Sucramal O, Pyridium and Distaclor, a statement said. Their turnover for FY23 stood at about Rs 32 crore.Lupin has been exclusively marketing these brands in the domestic market since July 2021 under a distribution and promotion agreement...
