Dr Rajnish Kumar of the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Madras, who was named today as one of the prestigious Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar awardees, is an expert in gas hydrates and is currently working on industrial projects with Shell, GAIL and L&T.
