The weather in Colombo has remained cloudy and rainy throughout the ‘Super 4’ stage of the Asia Cup, and the forecast is not any different for the final between India and Sri Lanka scheduled to be played on Sunday at the R Premadasa Stadium.
As per the latest weather updates for Sunday, there is a possibility of thunderstorms with scattered showers through the afternoon and evening.However, like the India vs Pakistan match in the ‘Super 4’ stage, the final also has a reserve day in case rain plays spoil sport on Sunday.

India and Sri Lanka finished the ‘Super 4’ stage with four points each to qualify for the final, but India finished on top of the table with a better net run rate. Bangladesh and Pakistan, who finished third and fourth respectively, were eliminated.

The final is scheduled to begin at 3 pm local time, which is also 3 pm IST.
