PM Modi ‘most popular global leader’ with 76% approval rating: Survey | India News

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has again emerged as the most popular global world leader with a solid approval rating of 76% – the highest in the world.
According to the “Global Leader Approval” survey released by Morning Consult, PM Modi‘s approval rating is over 12 percentage points higher than the next leader on the list – Switzerland President Alain Berset.
PM Modi has been consistently topping the list over the last few years.
US President Joe Biden is seventh on the list with an approval rating of 40%, his highest since March.

Notably, according to the data collected from September 6-12, 2023, Modi also has the lowest disapproval rating on the list at just 18%.
Among the top 10 leaders on the list, Canada‘s Justin Trudeau has the highest disapproval rating at 58%.
The data, collected by the political intelligence research firm, is based on a survey of 22 global leaders.
At just 20%, South Korean President Yoon Seok-youl and Czech Republic President Petr Pavel have the lowest approval ratings among the leaders.
