NEW DELHI: Jasprit Bumrah-led Team India on Tuesday departed for Ireland for a three-match T20I series. The three-match T20I series will start on August 18 at Malahide, Dublin, with the following matches on August 20 and August 23 at the same venue.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to social media platforms to share snapshots of the Indian team’s departure to Ireland.

The official BCCI Instagram account also posted images of key players – Bumrah, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Prasidh Krishna, Rinku Singh, and Shivam Dube – as they set out on their journey.

The series will also see the return of Bumrah, who has been recuperating from a back injury sustained during his last appearance against England in 2022. Bumrah has been given the leadership duties in the series.
