For the uninitiated, Sushmita was only 24 when she decided to embrace motherhood and adopted Renee as her daughter. Later, she adopted her second child, daughter Alisah. Renee has already made her acting debut with a short film Suttabaazi before lending her voice to Taali.
Sushmita is back on screen with Taali which has been described as a biographical drama about the story of transgender activist Gauri Sawant, who was born as Ganesh. The show is her second digital outing after her acclaimed web debut Aarya.
