‘Tiger 3’ becomes Salman Khan’s 17th film to cross 100-crore mark; fans say ‘Bhai ki movie…’

Early estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk indicate that the box office collection for ‘Tiger 3’ on Day 3 is anticipated to be approximately Rs 40 plus crore. The film has registered a Hindi occupancy rate of only 25.67 percent thus far, with morning shows at 17.22 percent and afternoon shows at 34.11 percent occupancy.

The decline in Tiger 3’s box office performance raises concerns for the actioner, particularly when juxtaposed with Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan, the previous installment in the

YRF Spy Universe featuring Shah Rukh Khan. Pathaan had achieved a box office figure of Rs 23 crore on its first Tuesday in theaters.
The fifth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, Tiger 3 is a sequel to Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). The film also stars Emraan Hashmi, Revathi, Simran and Riddhi Dogra in key roles. The movie also showcased both Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan reprising their roles of spy agents Pathaan and Kabir from their movies in the Spy Universe.
