Prince William expresses deep concern over the absence of the engagement ring that once belonged to his late mother, Princess Diana, which is now associated with his sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, reported New Idea Magazine.
As the Prince of Wales, William has called for an investigation into the whereabouts of the Duchess of Sussex’s missing ring, as its disappearance has raised significant concerns within the Palace.
Meghan has been seen on multiple occasions without her engagement ring since her appearance at the Women of Vision Award in New York in May. This has fueled speculation about potential issues in her marriage to Prince Harry.
The ring, valued at approximately $465,000, was notably absent during Meghan’s recent appearance at the Invictus Games, causing anxiety within the royal establishment, according to an insider quoted in New Idea Magazine.
While representatives of the Sussexes have stated that the ring is “being fixed” due to loose stones, its continued absence troubles William. The insider commented that it seems perplexing for Meghan not to proudly wear the ring, especially during her visit to Germany.
This situation has set off alarm bells at the Palace, prompting William to seek answers independently, given his strained relationship with Prince Harry. The Prince of Wales is determined to locate this missing and highly valuable piece of jewelry, driven by his dedication to preserving his mother’s legacy, of which her jewelry held a significant place.
In closing, the source emphasized that William holds cherished memories of seeing his mother wearing each piece of her jewelry, and he remains committed to ensuring their preservation and return.
