WATCH: ‘Cannot wait’ – Team India gears up for Australia challenge ahead of World Cup

NEW DELHI: Team India is set to embark on an exciting journey as they gear up for a three-match ODI series against Australia, just ahead of the much-anticipated ICC ODI World Cup, starting October 5. India are scheduled to play three ODI matches against Australia. The first ODI will be played on Friday in Mohali. The second ODI will be played in Indore on September 24 and the third and final ODI will be hosted by Rajkot on September 27.
The stalwarts Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya have been rested for the first two ODIs but will make their return for the third match.

In Rohit’s absence, KL Rahul will be leading the Men in Blue in the first two matches.

BCCI on Thursday shared a video of showcasing the Indian players gearing up for the ODI series against Australia.
WATCH:

This ODI series serves as a litmus test for India’s capabilities, and it’s a platform for emerging talents to prove their mettle in the series.
India, who won the last ICC title way back in 2013 and a World Cup trophy in 2011, will open their World Cup campaign against Australia on October 8 in Chennai.
