NEW DELHI: India cruised to a comfortable ten-wicket win in the Asia Cup final, handing Sri Lanka a historically heavy defeat at R. Premadasa Stadium on Sunday.
After bowling out Sri Lanka for a mere 50 runs, the Indian opening duo of Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill efficiently chased down the target in just 6.1 overs, securing a resounding win.

Ishan sealed the run chase with a single against the part-time spinner Charith Asalanka, and the rain-affected tournament’s final concluded in just two hours.
