There seems to be no stopping for the juggernaut that Shah Rukh Khan has created with his latest release Jawan. In its worldwide collection the film has crossed Rs 500 crore mark in just four days and this has made Shah Rukh Khan the only actor in the history of Indian cinema to deliver two 500 crore hits in the same year, the film has collected Rs 531.26 crore till now.
Sharing the news on Sunday, film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan wrote on X, “Jawan WW Box Office. The film joins the elite ₹500 cr club in just 4 days across the world. Registers biggest single day collection in India for any Bollywood film till date. #Jawan|#ShahRukhKhan|#Nayanthara Day 1 – ₹ 125.05 cr. Day 2 – ₹ 109.24 cr. Day 3 – ₹ 140.17 cr. Day 4 – ₹ 156.80 cr. Total – ₹ 531.26 cr. Shah Rukh Khan creates a new record by becoming the only actor to have two ₹500 cr club films in a single year after Pathaan. Also, the fastest Hindi film to enter this monstrous club.”
Associated Press reported on Jawan’s collection that Jawan opened on 4th place in the US and Canada circuit after The Nun 2, The Equalizer 3 and My Big Fat Greek Wedding minting $6.2 million ( 51 crore) for the opening weekend Also the numbers coming from GCC ( Gulf Cooperation Council) which includes countries like Kuwait, Iran, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and The United Arab Emirates has collected an estimated $7.5 million ( 62 crore) in its opening weekend and has already been announced an all time blockbuster.
This Atlee directed film also has Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupati, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sanjeeta Chatterjee,Girija Oak Godbole, Lehar Khan, Sunil Gover along with Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt in cameo.
It also suggested that the film has made about $130 million in worldwide collections. The entire amount collected in India as a result is currently Rs 287.06 crore and the movie will be entering the 300 crore club in India today.
