Tcs: TCS wins $1billion contract from TaMo unit JLR

BENGALURU: TCS has won a $1 billion, five-year deal from the digital unit of JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) to transform, simplify, and help manage its digital estate, and build a new future-ready, strategic technology architecture.
JLR is a subsidiary of Tata Motors, a Tata Group company that also owns TCS. TCS has had a relationship with JLR Digital for over a decade, helping the luxury automaker optimise as well as pursue its growth and innovation agenda.
As a part of the new deal, TCS will deliver services spanning application development & maintenance, enterprise infrastructure management, cloud migration, cybersecurity and data services. By leveraging new technologies to transform core IT operations and adopting new ways of working, TCS will enable a leaner, more agile and scalable operating model, a release from TCS said.
