‘You forgot 3D player’: Former chief selector trolled after picking India’s potential World Cup squad | Cricket News

NEW DELHI: With the ODI World Cup fast-approaching, former players and experts have been busy figuring out the potential India squad for the marquee event.
Former chief selector MSK Prasad too recently joined the bandwagon, picking his preferred 15-man squad for the tournament.
However, Prasad found himself at the receiving end after naming his squad as the fans reminded him of missing out on the ‘3D player‘ in his team.
Back in 2019, Prasad faced heat for picking all-rounder Vijay Shankar over Ambati Rayudu for the World Cup, terming him a ‘3D player’, a decision that didn’t go well with the fans and many former players.

On Friday, Prasad was mercilessly trolled with the ‘3D’ reference after he named his squad for the upcoming ODI World Cup.

The World Cup begins from October 5 in Ahmedabad while the marquee India vs Pakistan clash will take place on October 14 at the same venue.
