Hema Malini finally watches Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and shares her review: ‘Aisa laga ki 70s aur 80s ka daur hai’ | Hindi Movie News

Sunny Deol‘s Gadar 2 has wreaked havoc at the box office with its thunderous run in theatres across the country. The Anil Sharma directorial, which also stars Ameesha Patel, Manish Wadhwa, Utkarsh Singh and Simrat Kaur, has crossed Rs 300 crore mark in just 8 days of its release. On Saturday, Dharmendra‘s wife and veteran actress Hema Malini stepped out to watch Gadar 2 and gave a rave review.
Hema was papped outside a theatre in Mumbai. She was wearing a pink top and black pants and completed her look with a colourful scarf, looking pretty as ever.

When she was asked about her reaction to Gadar 2 starring Dharmendra’s son Sunny Deol, she told the paps that it felt like the era of 70s and 80s was back. She also praised the entire storyline of Gadar 2, Anil Sharma’s direction and raved about Sunny and Utkarsh’s performance.

“Bohot hi achha laga. Jo expected tha waise hi tha. Bohot hi interesting hai. Aisa lag raha tha ki 70s aur 80s ka uss zamane ke film ke zaisa ek daur hai. Anil Sharma Ji ne bohot beautiful direction kiya hai aur Sunny (Deol) is superb. Utkarsh ne bhi bohot sundar acting kiya hai. It’s a nice message for India and Pakistan,” she said.

Talking about the pairing of Tara Singh and Sakeena, Hema said, “Bohot achha laga. 22 saal k baad bhi dono bohot hi sundar laag raha hain, bohot achha kaam kiya hai.” She also praised the songs and concluded saying, “It’s a nice film.”
