NEW DELHI: Dinesh Karthik appears to be relishing his time as a commentator in the UK with the Indian wicketkeeper continues to hog the limelight whether it was his hilarious banter with Ricky Ponting in Ashes or with his role in The Hundred.

Karthik took to Twitter to retweet the video in which he was seen in conversation with Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi and recently retired England legend Stuart Broad.

Karthik wrote ‘I feel you @BenDuckett1 #heightissues’. His witty post was directed towards England opener Ben Duckett who also is almost of the same height of Karthik.
Duckett pictures went viral during the Ashes when he stood alongside Stuart Broad and Zak Crawley for the national anthems.

The trio were discussing Afridi’s performance as he made a remarkable start to The Hundred campaign. The left-arm pacer dismissed Phil Salt and Laurie Evans off successive balls to help Welsh Fire register 9-run victory over Manchester Originals.
Kartihik earlier engaged in hilarious banter with Ponting, Mark Taylor in the commentary box during the Day 4 of the fifth Test at The Oval.
The two Australian greats were lavishing praise on Usman Khawaja and David Warner for giving visitors a brilliant start in their pursuit of 384 but Karthik was quick to remind them what happened during 2009 Ashes series.
“The two Australian commentators here are going gaga over how well Australia are going. Here is a moment though, that happened a few Ashes ago. Ricky Ponting and Michael Hussey had put on a partnership of 127 before this happened. What happened after that, I think it is best Ricky explains. They lost the Test and the Ashes post that,” Karthik said as Ponting and Taylor burst into laughter.
